...About us, our Past, Present, & Future...  
We are Gail, Barry, & Kirsty Marr. We currently live on a small two acre property in Moore Creek, a short drive out of Tamworth. Along with our much loved dalmatians, we also have two cats, Juliet & Dorian, & a gallah called Big Bird, all of which love the extra room & with only five neighbors we often feel like we live in the middle of no-where, with only the wildlife & the bush around us. We first become involved with Dalmatians & Showing in 2004, when we bought our very first dalmatian, Gentry Almost An Angel "Bella". Kirsty had been a lover of the breed since she was very young, so we finally bought her one, & now we are hooked. Six months after buying Bella we went to our first dog show, not as exhibitors, but as cheer squad for our new friends, one month later we entered our first dog show & haven't looked back since. With our first offical show dog in 2005, Alley, & getting our breeders prefix in 2006.
We bred our first Dazzledot litter in 2008, which produced some lovely puppies with very happy & outgoing temperaments, one of which Prudence, is shown by us & has become a real favourite in the show ring. The following year proved to be a great year for us with two of our dalmatians, Alley & Comet, being Titled back to back & Prudence well on her way to her Title & stepping out on her own with many CC's & ResCC's under her bealt.
2010 was the year we bred our second, & last litter from Alley, & what a litter it was, with several puppies entering the show/Obedience ring's including Bronte, Max & Mia, & Jacob shown by us, Already a BOB & Class in Group winner at 6 months. To say we were very proud of this litter is an under statement & we look forward to a very bright future for all of us.
                    
Though we don't show as often as some other breeders, our aim is to have fun & enjoy ourselves, not showing every weekend & getting our dogs titled as soon as possible. We are a small, but very dedicated prefix. "Dazzledot" is the prefix we use to register the dalmatians we breed with our governing body of dog, the Royal NSW Canine Council. We had to submit ten choices for our prefix, "Dazzledot" was our fourth.
Here at Dazzledot our philosophy is simple, we are animal lovers first & dog breeders second. It is our goal to continually work to improve the dalmatian breed & to raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppies. Each of our breedings is done with the goal of continuing & improving the standard of excellence of the dalmatian breed in Australia, which is why we plan well ahead of each litter, & only breed when we would like another dog or have enough buyers. We strive to breed sound, healthy dalmatians with stable, outgoing temperaments that will make an excellent member of their new family's.
Our dalmatians are our children, so when it comes time to placing our puppies with a new family, it is very important to us that we find them just the right home.
We are Donators to the Dalmatian Club Of NSW Welfare & to the RSPCA, both organisations do a lot of work rehoming dalmatians, & other animals in our state.
