Comet was so named after "Comet McNaught", also called the Great Comet of 2007 for the show it put on in the Northern Hemisphere, & then south of the equator. At its peak, it was the brightest comet in four decades & was even glimpsed in broad daylight by some observers. This boy is certainly living up to his name, winning his first ResCC at 6 months, RUBOB at 8 months, a multiple RUBOB & PIG winner at 9 months, his first DCC/BOB & PIS at 11 months, & a RUBIG winner by 13 months. Gaining his Championship Title at 2 years old, after limited showing throughout 2008 & 2009. Comet's wins to date include two Runner up Best In Groups & class in show, & many Class in Group wins. We are very proud of his acomplishments & look forward to a very bright future for him. He is currently taking some time off from showing until Jacob's title, but should be coming back up very soon. Along with his wins in the ring, he is one of those dog that steal your heart away. Having a great temperment is one of the things you'll first notice about Comet. We also think he will never grow up, like our other dals he loves to play, but he also loves to play in the ring & give all the judges a big kiss, where as our others are very professional comet just doesn't care & wants to have as much fun & games as possible.   
Comet was first male Dalmatian which was definitely an experience, & was also our first liver, coming all the way from Melbourne to join us. He is well balanced, with beautiful angles (front & rear), sound movement with plenty of reach & drive, dark liver red spotting on a stunning white coat & the happiest of temperaments, a friend to everyone he meets, all of these qualities he has passed on to his kids & he is certainly a character at our place.
